o´marie antoinette!

Here is the cake we made for Jesper & Karro´s marie Antoinette-themed wedding. I´ve been waiting for better pictures, but hey, we can´t wait forever, and we really want to share, so here´s some pics anyway...

The cake was white vanilla, filled with cream cheese frosting & fresh raspberries, covered in white chocolate fondant, with white chocolate pearls and cameo, and sugar flowers (roses, peonies, hydrangeas), ribbons & butterflies...

The cupcakes were vanilla sourcream cupcakes filled with homemade raspberry jam, and frosted with swiss meringue buttercream. Adorned with white chocolate pearls and satin ribbon.

Recently we had the pleasure to make the wedding cake & cupcakes, some decorations and a table full of sweets for my dear friends Jesper & Karolina... Here´s a sneek peeks until I get some good pictures from their photographer. The theme was Marie Antoinette!

We are so sorry for the lack of bloggingng lately! We promise we´ll do better after this summer... We have a lot going on right now with planning the future, organizing and summer vacations.

Rich chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache and vanilla meringue buttercream. All covered in white chocolate fondant. Ribbon roses, leaves and ribbons hand made out of white chocolate fondant.

Jag har tidigare skrivit om den fantastiska floristen Camilla Ek

och hennes vackra blommor. Nu har hon tillsammans med vackra vännen Susanne Lorentz Piper, öppnat upp en helt underbart ljuvlig liten butik, LOVELY

på Sibyllegatan 22 i Stockholm. De säljer vackra kläder, smycken, doftljus, blommor och nu även Holy Sweet´s macarons!

Camilla Ek var även med och fixade tillsammans med Malin Muhr

till bröllopet

jag skrev om sist. Camilla har ett annat företag som heter Nyfiken Grön

där man kan beställa de mest fantastiska buketter och arrangemang.

Hon gjorde brudens bukett och alla blomsterarrangemang plus massa fantastiska dekorationer och var med och stylade hela festen!

Önskar jag hade fler bilder på lokalen och det vackra de gjorde, men just nu har jag bara bild på brudbuketten... och det är inte så bara det, utan måste vara den absolut vackraste brudbukett man kan tänka sig! Så romantisk och feminin, med pioner och rosor i olika rosa nyanser.

I got the mission to make a fuor tier wedding cake with peonies and the couples´monograme, and this was the result!

I´m really pleased with how the cake turned out, especially the hand made sugar peonies. They were time consuming to make, but oh how I enjoyed making them! I have made all the peonies except the white buds, they are real.

Chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache, fresh raspberries and vanilla meringue frosting. Covered in white chocolate fondant. Decadent & Elegant.

This was the first cake I delivered with my amazing friend and Holy Sweet partner, Christina. It was so nice to have her help and support and to share the fun... and the responsibility!

From now on we are two, and that means twice the fun!

Holy Sweet has now moved out from Les Chambres Stockholm, and we are now looking for a place where we can bake AND have a little café... We will keep you updated. Until then, all orders go via email and/or phone.

o´ Grand Hôtel

I tisdags anordnade KSSS sin årliga modevisning på Grand Hôtel i Stockholm och Holy Sweet hade en monter där, precis bredvid Les Chambres vackra monter.

Vi bjöd på macaronsmakprover och fick chans att visa upp lite av det vi gör.

Det var otroligt kul och vi fick fantastiskt fin respons! Här kommer några bilder från vår monter, plus ett par detaljbilder på de ätbara dekorationerna jag gjorde till kvällen. Förhoppningsvis kan jag lägga ut fler bilder senare, men until then....

Allt är helt ätbart utom tårtan som är en utställningstårta (går dock att göra en ätbar kopia).

Dekorationerna har jag gjort av vit choklad och målat med ätbara färger. Temat på vår lilla monter var vintage!

Sorry for my lack of blogging lately.

I´ve been quite busy baking, busy being in the little pâtisserie in Les Chambres and busy looking for a pastry shop to buy, where we can run Holy Sweet. Time is just not enough to run a little coffee shop, bake in a kitchen half an hour away, and taking orders (without a drivers license). Hopefully we will open up our own place very soon...I´ll keep you updated om that!

But until then you can come visit us in Les Chambres. Here´s some pics....
